We have lost the jewels in our family crown and how much I miss Mum and Dad I can't begin to say; there are not enough words to convey how I am feeling. I may be in my 50s, but I feel like a little girl lost and alone sometimes. Mum didn't always say a lot, but her silence conveyed everything! I always wanted to link arms with her whenever we went anywhere together; I was safe. Dad was so protective of us, and it wasn't always appreciated, but he loved us; they both did. I do take solace in the fact that they are together in heaven with the Father. We are so lucky to have them as our parents because they were... no ARE special!
